Mimit e technology (MET) is a local Brunei Company, where we create innovative ideas on ICT solutions and services. MET was established since 2006 by two local entrepreneurs. At the moment, we are focusing on GPS applications as the main business. Aside from that, we do numerous IT related solutions and mobile contents. With the rapid development and convergence of the technologies in IT and Telecommunications, we have diversified ourselves to meet our customer’s needs.

We provide a carefully tailored solution based on industry standard technologies to our customers. We deal directly with them to understand their needs and enable us to deliver effectively and efficiently world class products and services. Some of the solutions are wireless technology, GPS Technology, Fleet Management, SMS mobile system & electronic content management.

In November 2007, we were selected to join an incubation program at the iCentre organized by the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB). The centre is managed by KR Consulting Pte Ltd, the fully owned subsidiary of the NUS Enterprise. KR Consulting focuses on providing consultancy in the set up of high-tech business incubator in the region.

In iCentre, we perform a research and development on GPS applications which we collaborated with our counter parts in the ASEAN region.  We accomplish our R&D for 6 months in researching and collecting data of coordinates and comparison of GPS hardware. We are now working with G4S in providing the software and hardware to all their fleets in Brunei Darussalam.

As for the year 2009 approaches, we are going to our second phase project which includes GPS Navigational for Brunei, Sarawak & Sabah. MET is also pursuing in our new mobile contents for marketed in the ASEAN region.
